This is Daniel's debut performance. His experiences growing up in South East London gave him the background to understand and convincingly portray the role of Dwayne. Daniel is really excited to be part of the film and hopes it will lead to future acting roles. The production team have been particularly impressed with Daniel's raw acting ability and are keen for him develop and utilise his skills further.
Dead Money 2009 - Acting debut
This is Danny's debut performance. He is originally from South East London and his current day time employment is as a post man. He has been friends with Daniel since their school days and this made him the ideal choice for Dwayne's sidekick. Their dynamic energy is evident for all to see throughout the film. Danny is proud to be appearing in Dead Money and leading the way for other deaf black actors in the media world.

Mark is from Nottingham and trained at the Arden School of Acting. Mark is a hearing actor and has extensive experience in film, television and theatre roles. Mark is currently learning BSL and this is his first time working with Deaf actors, directors and crew. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hopes to work with them all again in the future.

Marlon is from Manchester and trained at the Birmingham School of Acting. He is a hearing actor and has worked as an actor for 6 years. His most recent role was as Leonardo In Blood Wedding at the Southwark Playhouse and prior to that, he appeared in Fallen (Channel 4). Dead Money is Marlon's first film working with Deaf actors and he loved it!
